Countries continue to evacuate their citizens from warring Sudan
(VOVWORLD) - The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) on Tuesday said it was forced to reduce operations in many parts of Sudan due to fierce fighting.

According to the latest figures of the World Health Organization, at least 460 people have been killed by the fighting in Sudan and nearly 4,100 injured over the past 10 days.
WHO representative in Sudan Nima Saeed warned of a high risk of a biological hazard after one of the two sides seized a laboratory.
Countries are rushing to evacuate their citizens from the warring nation. The British government on Tuesday launched a large-scale evacuation operation for its citizens, after factions in Sudan agreed to a 72-hour ceasefire.
London said military flights would depart from an airport on the outskirts of the capital Khartoum and would pick up British passport holders. Priority will be given to families with children, the elderly, and individuals in need of medical treatment.
Italy, France, and Ukraine have evacuated their citizens from Sudan. China's Foreign Ministry said that most of its citizens in Sudan have been safely evacuated in groups to border crossings with neighboring countries.
