COVID-19: 2,967 cases of COVID-19 reported Thursday morning

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health said that Vietnam on Thursday morning confirmed an additional 2,967 cases of COVID-19, of which Ho Chi Minh City had 2,433 cases.

Quang Binh is the latest locality to report the first new COVID-19 cases.

To date, Vietnam’s total caseload is 71,144. 11,971 cases have been cured.

Vietnam's first COVID-19 vaccine, NanoCovax, has completed the injection of second dose for more than 1,000 first volunteers, said a representative of the Military Medical Academy.  After the injection, the volunteers have been in stable health. On July 27, the second dose will be administered to the remaining 12,000 volunteers.
