COVID-19 test prices to be cut by 30%
(VOVWORLD) - The ceiling price of COVID-19 tests will drop by 30%, according to the Ministry of Health’s recent circular effective from Monday.

The new circular stipulates prices for SARS-CoV-2 testing services performed by the State's medical facilities, including taking samples, preserving and testing the samples, and returning test results.
Under the document, the price for a coronavirus rapid test for single sample is not more than 3.2 USD per test, about 30% lower than the current 4.8 USD.
For those using an automatic or semi-automatic immunoassay machine, the price is 7.8 USD per test at the maximum.
The ceiling price of each COVID-19 test by Realtime RT-PCR technique is approximately 22 USD.
