COVID-19: Vietnam reports 3,336 cases on Friday

(VOVWORLD) -1,898 more COVID-19 cases, incuding 1,349 in Ho Chi Minh City, were confirmed on Friday evening, raising Friday’s caseload to 3,336, according to the Ministry of Health.

Vietnam has so far reported a total of 42,179 domestic cases and 2,007 imported cases. The number of new cases recorded in the country from April 27 to now is 40,609.

332 patients were declared cured on Friday, bringing the total number of cured cases to 10,020. The 18 deaths announced on Friday were those from July 8-14 in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, Long An, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Bac Ninh and Bac Giang.

There are 12 provinces and cities that have not recorded new cases for 14 days: Yen Bai, Quang Tri, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Ninh Binh, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Hai Duong, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh, and Bac Kan.
