PM Phuc said countries along the Mekong river, with their longstanding cultural traditions, have a number of skilled artisans who create widely-known handicrafts. He urged Mekong countries to continue working together and expand connectivity with other countries along Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong rivers in economic development, regional integration, and peacekeeping. He said the WEF-Mekong will offer new cooperation opportunities for leading firms in the region and the world, helping to attract capital, modern technology, and innovative management for infrastructure development and connectivity enhancement in the Mekong region.
