(VOVWORLD) - World's leading pyrotechnicians will gather at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2026) from May 30 to July 11 to compete for the best fireworks performances, the event's organizer announced on Wednesday.

Ticket prices this year range from around 38 to 152 USD per seat. The event will be held along the Han River.
Host Vietnam and team China will kick off the competition with the theme "Nature" on the opening night on May 30.
The ensuing days of competition will see Vietnam team 2 face team France with the theme "Heritage", Japan vs Italy with the theme "Culture", Macao (China) vs Germany with the theme "Creativity", and Australia vs Portugal with the theme "Vision".
The top 2 will face off in the finale themed "Connected Horizons" on July 11.
The annual fireworks festival in Da Nang has become a highlight of the city's summer tourism season. This year's edition is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of local and international tourists.
