(VOVworld) – Marches took place in Da Nang City on Sunday in response to the World Environment Day on June 5^th and Vietnam’s Sea and Island Week. Mai Thi Thuy Trang, Deputy Secretary of Lien Chieu district’s Youth Union, said: "Young people like us are well-aware of climate change’s direct impacts on every citizen. Da Nang City lies in the areas severely affected by climate change. Campaigns and movements to encourage young people to clean up the environment along the beaches and in residential areas, are very popular. And we think they are the best ways to change people’s behaviors towards environmental protection activities."
