(VOVworld) – The Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2012 officially kicks off on Sunday evening at 20:00 GMT.

Five competing teams are from Canana, China, France, Italy and the host Vietnam. By now, all preparations for the event have been put in place, including the 32,000-seat grand stand and the audio and lighting systems. There will also be many supporting activities during the event including processions of decorated boats and cyclos, lantern releases, water sports, music and dancing programs, introduction of new tours, and a food festival. Audience are expected to feast their eyes on spectacular fireworks shows during the competition entitled “Colors of Da Nang”.
