Da Nang volunteers donate 200 blood units
(VOVWORLD) - Volunteers, including the staff of Hospital 199 and Youth Union members in Da Nang city, donated more than 200 blood units during a blood drive launched by the municipal Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation.

“I’m very happy to donate my blood. I hope it will save patients, particularly those being treated for COVID-19. I want to call on young people to take part in blood donation programs, which are very humane and practical,” said Phung Cao Cuong, the hospital’s Youth Union Secretary.
The Da Nang municipal Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation plans to organize 50 events to collect 36,000 blood units this year.
