Deputy PM examines HCMC’s COVID-19 response
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, who is also head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, on Saturday chaired an online conference with Ho Chi Minh City’s Steering Committee to review the pandemic prevention and control after 1 day of social distancing.

The Deputy Prime Minister asked the city to boost the testing capacity to quickly detect and isolate infected people.
Regarding traffic congestion on highways in Ho Chi Minh city as the result of social distancing measures, Mr. Dam said, “The Prime Minister and the Ministry of Transport have promulgated documents to deal with this issue. It is essential to tighten management of goods delivery system in the city”.
