(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai extended his New Year wishes on Monday to coal and electricity suppliers and companies in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

Hai visited and presented gifts to managers and workers at construction sites the Mong Duong I and Mong Duong II thermal power plants in Cam Pha city. He said Vietnam is accelerating administrative reforms to lure investment in all fields. Electricity demands for socio-economic development have grown significantly in recent years, requiring the sector to develop and stabilize the supply.

The same day, Hai visited Khe Day coal mine, a dormitory for miners, and An Lac Vien cemetery park.
