Deputy PM meets Mongolian FM at the UN

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son has proposed that Vietnam and Mongolia promote bilateral trade relations, expand exports of each country's agricultural products and cooperate in new fields, such as mining, so as to raise bilateral trade value to 200 million USD.

The Vietnamese top diplomat met with Mongolian Foreign Minister Batmunkhiin Battsetseg on the sidelines of UN Summit of the Future Summit and the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.

FM Battsetseg said Mongolia values and wishes to promote cooperation with Vietnam, looking forward to the upcoming visit to Mongolia by General Secretary and President To Lam. Mongolia wants to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in mining, transport connections, tourism, and labor, she added.
