(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc worked with the Lao Cai provincial authorities on Sunday. The local government proposed the government devise policies to encourage and support exports of Vietnamese advantageous goods via Lao Cai border gate to boost trade in the Con Minh-Lao Cai – Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh Economic Corridor.

Lao Cai also called on the government to provide investment capital for the infrastructure construction of the province’s expanded border economic zone as well as the implementation of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Highway. Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked Lao Cai province to continue socio-economic development solutions with special attention given to new rural development. He suggested Lao Cao to focus on human resource development, exports of agricultural products, and smuggling prevention.
