Deputy PM wants HCM city to strengthen management of workers in “every factory” as COVID-19 spreads
(VOVWORLD) - HCM city should tighten the management of employees in every factory in local industrial parks and export processing zones to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam spoke at an online meeting on COVID-19 response with HCM city authorities on Monday. Mr. Dam said that centralized quarantine facilities have reached 70% of their capacity, so self-quarantine at home should be applied as soon as possible.
“Within the next few days, HCM city should manage workers in each factory, from where they live, to how they travel to work.”
HCM city is now Vietnam’s biggest COVID-19 hotspot with more than 11,500 cases.
