(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has stressed the need to preserve and safeguard the body of President Ho Chi Minh. Phuc inspected the regular maintenance work of Ho Chi Minh mausoleum on Monday. He called for more scientific research and cooperation with Russia to help better preserve Uncle Ho’s body through project VN01. The mausoleum management board was also urged to make greater efforts to turn the site into a cultural and educational center for the next generations. Deputy Prime Minister Phuc said: “We need to effectively implement project VN01, which has caught public interest. I also call on the mausoleum management board to modernize the relic site, including the extended areas. The Ministry of Defense should work harder on land clearance to expand the site in line with a program approved by the Politburo”.
