Deputy Prime Minister: Tertiary education should lead educational reform

(VOVworld) - (VOVworld) - Any inappropriate changes made to the education and training sector would adversely affect the whole community, said Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam at Saturday conference organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in Hanoi. The conference aims to review a Party resolution on educational reform and to review the activities of universities and colleges during the school year 2012-2013. Dam urged the sector to take drastic measures to reform the educational system to satisfy Vietnam’s demands for human resources development. He stressed the importance of tertiary education, which he said should take the lead in this reform process with changes applied to every aspect, from management to training activities.
