(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam called for more exchange of visits at high level between Vietnam and Laos.

On their sideline meeting at the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit in Bangkok on Monday, the Deputy Prime Minister met Laotian Prime Minister Thonglun Sisulit.
Both agreed to strengthen preparation for the celebration of the 55^th anniversary of diplomatic ties and 40^th anniversary of amity and cooperation treaty next year.
Mr Dam asked for more cooperation with international organizations in the sustainable management and use of water resources from the Mekong River.
