(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has praised contributions made by Xuan Loc diocese to socio-economic development of Dong Nai province in particular and of Vietnam in general. At a get-together on Saturday, Phuc spoke highly of the diocese’s successful organization of major religious events and expressed his hope that local dignitaries will continue to encourage the people to make greater efforts to be good Catholic followers and good citizens.

Bishop Da Minh Nguyen Chu Trinh thanked the Party and State for creating favorable conditions for the diocese’s activities in accordance with Catholic guidelines. He also promised to mobilize priests and followers to help build a stronger and more civilized Vietnam.
