(VOVworld) – Dien Bien province continues to implement projects on renovation and preservation of Dien Bien Phu historical relic site in anticipation of 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory in 2014.

The projects include building monument of Dien Bien Phu victory and Dien Bien Phu museum and outdoor protection roof system. The roof system worth 200,000 USD has been put into operation. Dao Ngoc Luong is the Head of Dien Bien Phu historical relic site’s Management Board: "The implementation of the projects must follow strict requirements including assuring correctness and original historical values. Those works must be on trial run, then be assessed by scientists before being constructed".
