The northwestern city of Dien Bien Phu opened its first ever night market yesterday. The Muong Thanh night market, spanning 580m through five streets, will provide residents and tourists with local cuisine, souvenirs and bonsai from 8 to 11:30pm every night. An estimated 160 households and 90 temporary stalls are doing business in the market.
