Over the past 6 years, the project has recorded significant results, contributing to achieving economic targets, curbing inflation, balancing supply and demand, promoting distribution networks, and improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, export contracts have been canceled and the domestic market of 100 million people has saved businesses.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said: “Although the total retail of goods and services in the first 7 months dropped 0.4% compared to last year, the total retail of goods in 7 months accounted for 79% and increased 3.6% against the same period last year. The market has ensured essential goods for people and materials and equipment for production.”

Delegates proposed incentive policies for businesses to enhance technological application, develop support industries, expand distribution networks and business connectivity, and promote e-commerce.
