The Government has proposed to include 15 draft laws for discussion until 2023. Specifically at the National Assembly’s 5th session, nine draft laws will be deliberated.

The Government also proposed to adjust the 2022 Program with 27 law projects, an increase of 14 law projects compared to the Program approved by the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The National Assembly Standing Committee suggested that the draft Land Law should be submitted to the National Assembly’s 4th session because this is an important law project that needs to be reviewed and approved through three meetings and must be consulted by the public.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said "Discussion of the draft Land Law will be postponed to the National Assembly's  4th session, then the subsequent steps will be taken. The National Assembly delegations have worked with relevant agencies on amending the Land Law. This time, we must be determined to do so, there is no way back.”
