EC proposes post-Brexit joint budget
(VOVWORLD) - European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Wednesday proposed an EU budget of nearly 1.28 trillion euros for 2021-2027 after the UK leaves the EU.

Juncker said the budget covers research projects, technology, foreign aid, stabilization of areas using the euro common currency, and compensation for people who lost their jobs because of the open market mechanism.
The EC urged each of the 27 EU member countries to pay a 10-billion-euro compensation after the UK ends its contribution.
