(VOVworld) – Egypt’s new Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahleb on Sunday urged the Egyptian people to end all protests and strikes in order to create conditions to restore the country after three years of turmoil.

In his first speech since he was sworn in, Mahleb said the new government is determined to realize Egypt’s revolutionary goals, including ensuring social justice. The new cabinet vows to ensure security, fight terrorism, create a neutral political atmosphere, and pursue a balanced diplomacy.
