(VOVworld) – The ongoing 18th World Electronics Forum (WEF 18) held in Vietnam is a chance for local enterprises to update information, strengthen connectivity, and expand cooperation with the world’s leading electronic companies. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan made the statement at the opening ceremony on Tuesday, which drew the world’s leading electronics industries including the US, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, and Israel.

Nhan added that the three-day event will help Vietnam prepare the best conditions in infrastructure, policies and high-quality manpower to attract greater foreign investment in Vietnam’s electronics and high-technology sectors. Vietnam hopes to cooperate in education and technology with developed countries, which are Vietnam’s strategic partners, like Germany, the US, South Korea, and Japan. Vietnam has promised to facilitate investment in its electronic sector.
