(VOVworld) – Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien has signed an official document promoting a Mers prevention communication campaign to foreigners.


The document asked the Chairmen of People’s Committees of cities and provinces, leaders from the Labor Department and functional agencies to work with the management boards of industrial zones and construction sites to distribute information on the prevention of Mers among South Korean and Chinese workers in Vietnam. Sick people have to make health declarations at border gates.
Anyone having a cough, high fever, and or respiratory inflammation within 14 days has to show up at a local clinic or call the Health Ministry hotline for consultation.
