(VOVworld) – Germany’s Welt am Sonntag newspaper cited several diplomatic sources on Saturday that a group of EU countries want an extension of border controls to cope with Europe's migration crisis. If EU interior ministers approve, the border controls which is due to lapse in May will be in effect for a further 1 to 1 and half year. The issue will be discussed in Amsterdam on Monday.
