EU reaffirms its support for Ukraine accession
(VOVWORLD) - The European Union is strongly committed to Ukraine, and will continue to assist Ukraine in becoming a member, said EU leaders at a European Council summit in Brussels on Thursday.

The EU will coordinate with international partners to assist the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine, they said. The next Ukraine Recovery Conference will be hosted by Italy in July 2025.
The EU also reaffirmed its support for those displaced by the Russia-Ukraine conflict, both in Ukraine and in the EU, including providing flexible funding to the EU member states bearing the greatest burden of health, education, and living costs for refugees.
