(VOVWORLD) - Several EU are testing a system that will enable their COVID-19 contact tracing apps to work across borders.

According to the European Commission, the new system will ensure the apps work continuously even when users travel abroad, which means users only need one app to report or receive alerts.
The countries involved include the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Latvia.
