Exhibit: “Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of Vietnam”

(VOVworld) – An exhibit of historical and legal evidence of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes opened in Quang Nam province on Tuesday. On display are documents, wood blocks, maps, and atlases issued by Vietnamese feudal dynasties from the 17th to the early 20th century, affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.

There are 100 publications published in western countries from the 18th to the 19th century which contain information about Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa. The exhibit also displays photos of the two archipelagoes under the rule of French colonialists and the Republic of Vietnam as well as images of the Hoang Sa fleet and the daily life of people in Truong Sa.
