Exhibition about President Ho Chi Minh opens in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) - An exhibition entitled “President Ho Chi Minh - Great leader of the Communist Party and people of Vietnam, Ambassador of peace and friendship of people worldwide” opened in Hanoi on Wednesday to mark his 130th birthday, May 19.
On display are nearly 250 photos of President Ho and materials showing his journey from seeking national salvation to the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
The exhibition features five major sections, including President Ho Chi Minh’s embark on national salvation journey, his leadership in the struggle for national liberation and independence and a successful general uprising to give birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the construction and defense of socialism in the north and the struggle for national reunification.
The same day, the Presidential Palace hosted a workshop featuring dozen of presentations on President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary career and life, contributing to the campaign on learning from President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example and ideology.
