Organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Tuyen Quang Provincial People’s Committee, the exhibition showcases documents, publications, items, and 100 maps collected by domestic and foreign researchers that confirm Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos, including transcribed versions of the original Chinese-Vietnamese and French documents published by Vietnamese feudal regimes, the French government in Indochina, and several western publications from the 17th to the 20th century. Documents of the Nguyen Dynasty regarding Vietnam’s exploitation, management, establishment, and exercise of its sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa are also displayed.

The exhibition will run until Saturday.
