Exhibition highlights National Assembly, People's Council through elections
(VOVWORLD) -346 photos and 35 excerpts are being displayed at the photo exhibition themed “Vietnam National Assembly and Hai Phong City People's Council through Elections,” which opened on Thursday at the Hai Phong City Theater Square.

The exhibited images and documents provide an overview of the formation and development of the Vietnam National Assembly and the leadership role of President Ho Chi Minh in the establishment of the National Assembly. In the spotlight are milestones in the elections of deputies through different historical periods, including the first General Election on January 6, 1946.
The exhibition also presents the elections of National Assembly and People's Council representatives in Hai Phong City, reflecting the active and responsible participation of the city's voters throughout the years. The exhibition runs until March 21 and entry is free.
