(VOVworld) - An exhibit of photos, reportage, and documentary films on peoples in the ASEAN Community opened in Quang Ninh province in response to the formation of the ASEAN Community on December 31st, 2015.

On display are more than 300 photos and nearly 60 reportage and documentary films on peoples in the ASEAN Community that were awarded at the festivals of photos, reportage and documentary films on ASEAN held in 2010, 2013, and last year.
The works reflect the cultures, costumes, traditions, languages, health, education, industries, agriculture, and environments of the peoples in ASEAN members.

Truong Minh Tuan, Minister of Information and Communications, said: “the exhibit will help us better understand the cultures, peoples, and living environment of ASEAN members and offer more opportunities for ASEAN people to get closer to each other toward a diverse but united ASEAN culture. The event is an appeal to Vietnamese people to join efforts with other nations to build an ASEAN community of peace, stability, and development.”
The exhibit will run until Tuesday.
