(VOVworld) – An exhibition of historical evidence proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos is ongoing in the central coastal province of Phu Yen.

On display are nearly 50 maps and documents issued from the 16^th century in Vietnam and other countries. They include records in Chinese, Vietnamese and French languages by Vietnamese feudal dynasty and a map of Vietnam drawn under King Ming Mang and photos on island in the Truong Sa archipelago. The exhibition aims to confirm Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty and promote national unity and patriotism.
