(VOVWORLD) - An exhibition in Hue city on Sunday displayed documents and artifacts associated with Emperor Gia Long, the founder of the Nguyen Dynasty.

The exhibition, held on the 200th anniversary of Gia Long’s death, reviewed his background, career, and contributions to national construction and defense.

Emperor Gia Long was born Nguyen Phuc Anh in 1762. He founded the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam’s last feudal regime, which ruled the country from 1802 to 1945.
