 Zuckerberg will instead send his Chief Technology Officer Mike Schroepfer or Chief Product Officer Chris Cox, according to a Facebook leader in the UK. Damian Collins, Chairman of the British Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee said the incident is serious enough for Facebook’s founder to show himself and repeated the call for Zuckerberg.

The US Senate’s Judiciary Committee also called on leaders of Facebook, Alphabet, and Twitter to testify next month. The EU’s Justice Commissioner Vera Jourova asked Facebook to answer within 2 weeks whether any European users were affected by the leak.
