Facilitating RoK enterprises in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam will create favorable conditions for enterprises from the Republic of Korea (RoK) to invest in Vietnam, said Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung at a meeting with Chairman of the Korea Employers Federation Kyung Shik Sohn in Hanoi, on Friday.

Mr. Dung said Vietnam is improving its policy system and revising certain laws, including the Law on foreigners working in Vietnam, adding that the Government and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will focus on increasing negotiations between employers and workers to minimize State intervention in the operations of enterprises. He added the Ministry will coordinate with the RoK Ministry of Employment and Labor to sign agreements on social insurance and social protection towards providing better care for workers.

Chairman Kyung Shik Sohn affirmed that RoK enterprises would operate in a transparent manner in accordance with the regulations of the Government of Vietnam.
