(VOVworld) – EgyptAir Chairman Safwat Mosallam said Monday that EgyptAir has agreed to insurance companies giving 25.000 USD in advance compensation to families of the victims killed when EgyptAir flight MS804 crashed into the Mediterranean on May 19.

Mr Mosallam said the final compensation payments follow international insurance standards, adding that the Egyptian government will complete the victims’ death certificates before Thursday.    

On Saturday, an email address and website were created for the victims’ families to contact the insurers.
