The ceremony marked the Vietnam Farmers Association’s 90th anniversary. Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union Thao Xuan Sung said: “This ceremony recognizes farmers’ creativity and devotion to agricultural production, new-style rural building and national defense, and helps spread the model of new-generation farmers.”

The 63 honored farmers have developed excellent models that made profits of approximately 43,000 USD per year. The ceremony also recognized 27 businessmen and entrepreneurs who have actively supported farmers by providing credit, breeding stock, and fertilizers.
