The event, attended by 100 venture capital funds, 20 leading conglomerates in Vietnam, 800 startups in ASEAN, and 3,000 young people, promotes Hanoi as an attractive investment destination.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue said, “Young people are always encouraged to conduct scientific research and start up business that provide solutions for Hanoi’s problems. You will always have us by your side when you need support. We will soon debut an open innovation platform to connect scientific and technological organizations and firms to develop and test new technology.” 

The festival will include discussions on the progress of digitization in ASEAN, its benefits, and the venture capital network.

As part of the festival, the final of the VinaCapital Ventures VietChallenge innovative start-up contest took place for the region’s five most powerful start-ups. VIoT won the contest with its initiative “Lighting management and connection platform for urban areas and industrial zones”.
