Foreign congratulatory messages on the 70th anniversary of Vietnam’s diplomatic sector

(VOVworld) - Sunthone Sayachath, Head of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, sent a congratulatory message to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on the 70
th anniversary of Vietnam’s diplomatic sector. In her message, Ms. Sayachath acknowledged the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s contributions to Vietnam’s achievements and to raising Vietnam’s position in the world. He hailed the Ministry’s efforts to develop special ties between the two Parties, governments, and peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov sent a congratulatory message to Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on this occasion. In his message, Mr. Lavrov expressed his hope for continued cooperation between the two Foreign Ministries to boost the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for both countries’ interests, and for peace, stability, and development of the Asia Pacific region.
