D. Karavaki of Fiji said countries have to deal with common challenges and their own problems. During APPF they had the opportunities and conditions to discuss solutions and enhance cooperation for peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.

Konstantin Kosachev, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Russia’s State Duma, attributed the successful discussions and the Declaration to delegates’ effort and cooperation and Vietnam’s organization. It illustrated unity of regional parliaments.

Vice President of the Moroccan House of Representatives Mohammed Ouzzine, who attended the APPF-26 as an invited representative from outside of the Asia-Pacific region, appreciated APPF’s role in resolving regional issues. APPF’s success was attributed to cooperation among member countries and Vietnam’s organization, he said. “This is another success following the APEC 2017. I understand APPF’s vision is to bring countries closer. Our participation shows Morocco’s close viewpoint to the Asia-Pacific region in maintaining global peace and security. We support APPF’s values and stance as a partner of peace, creativity, and sustainable development.”
