Foreign ministry honors female diplomats
(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has hosted a get-together of female diplomats and representatives of international organizations, as well as wives of ambassadors and wives of the ministry’s officials to celebrate the International Women’s Day.

Addressing the event in Hanoi on Friday, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung praised contributions of female diplomats and wives of diplomats to foreign affair activities.
He said that promoting gender equality and women empowerment are among consistent priorities of Vietnam, for inclusive and sustainable development, as well as an important pillar of the country’s diplomacy.
