Participants underscored the need to advance new policies in the management and use of land with a focus on users of land for production and land previously used by agricultural and forestry farms.
They also called for the assessment of land use and management models by agricultural and forestry companies to ensure balance among business governance models, production models, the workforce, and the remaining land area.
Ho Phuc Long, Deputy Director of Vietnam Coffee Corporation, said: “It’s necessary to adjust and supplement the current policies and advance more specially tailored policies regarding the land tax for agricultural companies and land for ethnic minority people to address complaints and petitions.”
