Former US Ambassador to Vietnam David Shear shared the view at a recent interview with a Vietnam News Agency’s correspondent in Washington. He affirmed that the US-Vietnam bilateral ties are growing stronger than ever with great future prospects, especially in trade and investment. According to Mr. Shear, the two sides have strongly accelerated dialogues in both national defense and economics, creating favorable conditions for Mr. Trump’s upcoming visit to Hanoi as well as his attendance at APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting Week in Da Nang.
