Vietnam is carrying out its COVID-19 vaccination campaign, using the AstraZeneca vaccine

All the patients are Vietnamese citizens returning from overseas and they were quarantined as soon as they arrived in Vietnam.

So far Vietnam has recorded 2,737 coronavirus infections since the first case was detected in January 2020. Of the total 1,570 cases are locally transmitted. About 2,445 patients have been discharged from hospital after making a full recovery from the disease.
