(VOVworld) – French President’s Diplomatic Adviser Paul Jean-Ortiz met Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi on Wednesday in a new round of strategic dialogue between the two countries in Paris.

The two sides agreed to maintain strategic trust, foster mutual understanding and high-level exchanges and expand fields of cooperation for mutual benefit. On this occasion, Mr. Yang Jiechi met with French President Francois Hollande and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius. Earlier, activities got underway to mark the 50^th anniversary of France-China diplomatic ties.
