Fund raised to build solidarity house on Truong Sa islands

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front and the High Command of Vietnam’s Naval Force will co-organize a trip for business people and overseas Vietnamese to visit Truong Sa island district and DK1 platform.

The planned trip was unveiled at a meeting of the two agencies in Hanoi on Wednesday. During the trip, the organizing board will raise fund to build a Great Unity House of Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups on Truong Sa island district. The program is designed to enhance communications and improve people’s understanding and responsibility on national construction and defense. 180 people have registered to join the trip, which will begin early next month. They will present gifts to soldiers and people on the island. The Vietnam Fatherland Front intends to collect 45 billion VND to build the Great Unity House of Vietnam’s ethnic groups.
