The participating finance ministers, central bank governors, and international organization leaders said that it's time to take action to address structural growth impediments, rebuild buffers, reduce excessive global imbalances, and mitigate risks.

Attendees expressed their concerns about protectionism and discussed a global economic system based on international standards.  The joint communiqué showed the determination of G20 members to work for an equitable international tax system,  consumer and investor protection, and market integrity, and combat tax evasion, money laundering, and terrorism financing.
